Who is she?

Keely Cobb is a Los Angeles–based producer and choreographer creating collaborative, interdisciplinary work grounded in theatrical storytelling and contemporary movement. She is driven by a commitment to amplifying emerging artists and building platforms that foster innovation across dance, theater, music, and design.

Cobb is currently pursuing an MFA in Producing at the California Institute of the Arts and serves as Creative Producer for MashUp Contemporary Dance Company and an Associate Producer for Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles. Her work centers on eliminating financial barriers and cultivating equitable, artist-first environments where creativity can thrive.

In response to exploitative pay-to-perform models she encountered early in her career, Cobb founded Around the Stage | Theatrical Dance Company to ensure artists were compensated for their labor.  Across her producing, choreographic, and performance work, she remains dedicated to building inclusive, supportive spaces that uplift artists and strengthen creative communities.

Alongside her creative practice, Cobb is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in arts education. She has served in academic leadership roles and worked as a teaching artist specializing in arts integration through theater and dance, an approach that deeply informs her commitment to mentorship, access, and building sustainable pathways for emerging artists.
