Story
Reno's Theatrical Dance Company
Founded in early 2018 by Keely Cobb, Around the Stage is a Reno based dance company that strives to present professional performance opportunities to local dancers and theater technicians. Through a collaborative process, Around the Stage presents quirky evening length works that combine theatrical elements of crafting characters, investigating relationships and assembling narratives.

Kimberly Yukes
Kimberly dances with ATS, Moderngram, Sierra Nevada Ballet, and Collateral Co. She graduated summa cum laude from UNLV and teaches yoga, silks, barre, and ballet. She loves challenging her physical limits and exploring creativity, artistry, and healing arts. She loves sharing these things with her precious children
Ivy Case
Ivy is a Wyoming native who preserved a strong curiosity for creative aspirations throughout her life. She’s performed with companies from San Francisco to New York. Outside of performing and teaching, she is also a published Artist. She loves helping others find their voice through painting, movement, and observation.
Alex Clearwater
Alex moved to Reno in 2022 to more seriously pursue a career in dance. Her training is in ballet, contemporary, and modern. Alex has had the pleasure of performing at fundraising galas, Music Festivals, Reno Dance Festival, and other local events. She looks forward to performing Keely Cobb’s latest work.
Heather Rodriguez
Heather Rodriguez graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Houston and started her career with Ad Deum Dance company. Since moving to Reno in 2021, Heather has worked with Sierra Nevada Ballet, A.V.A Ballet and is currently a company member with Around the Stage.
Frankie Melander
Frankie has worked with the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra, Dark Corner Haunted House, Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company, and Ghostlight Theatre Company, among others. Most recently, they were featured in the Reno Phil’s Carmen and Ghostlight’s The Rocky Horror Show. They are excited to take the stage with ATS for the first time in 86: The Dance Suite.
Jenna Fortino
Jenna Fortino has been dancing since the age of three, starting her foundation at Lauri Gray’s School of Dance. She began training at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2020. In her time there, she performed in many dance concerts, most recently learning from Shinichi Iova-Koga and Philip “Flick” Flickinger in their pieces commissioned for the 2023 Spring Dance Concert. She graduated in May of 2023 with her B.A. in Dance, and is looking forward to future projects.
Andie Murray
Andie grew up in a small town south of Reno, Nevada and began dancing at the age of eight. After joining Western Nevada Performing Arts Center to finalize her training, she moved to Reno and began teaching at several studios. With a love for dance education and performance she tries to give back to the Reno art and dance community whenever possible.
Natalie Gonzalez
Natalie Gonzalez (they/them) is a dancer, martial artist, personal trainer, teacher, and actor! They have a BA in Musical Theatre from the University of Nevada, Reno, and have performed with many local theaters in town. They have also worked with the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare festival and the Thunder Bay Theatre Company in Michigan. Outside of movement and performance, Natalie loves learning languages and has a Seal of Biliteracy in Japanese!
